With a wave of your arm, a wall of darkness expands in a cone-shaped wave from your position. All creatures caught within the cone take 1d6 damage per two caster levels (maximum 5d6) from numbing cold. In addition, each target must then succeed a Fortitude save or be enveloped in a skin-tight field of shadows which acts exactly as the spell darkness (affected targets only gain concealment against other creatures if the area is already in shadowy conditions). The localized darkness lasts for 1 round per caster level.
