d20 Magic Items

Just as spells are a critical component to most fantasy campaigns and game systems, magic items usually don't fall to far behind it.  These magic items are used for the underdark campaign settings Lake of Spires, 3.5e (OGL - d20).  Both spells and magic items are developed based on need and necessity, some in fact are required for survival in harsh environments.

d20 OGL 3.5 Cloak of Stone

Faint ATransmutation

This mottled gray cloak seems to blend with natural stone in the vicinity.  These cloaks appear to be quite normal and in worn condition, something that a commoner would use for daily use.  For those who wish to escape attention though there are few cloaks that offer these combined properties and for that it makes them highly sought after.

d20 OGL 3.5 Piwafwi of Fortification (Drow Cloak of Fortification)

Strong AAbjuration

This cloak is usually made of shadowy dark silk or cloth, and appears identical to any other drow made cloak to those familiar with such items and craftsmanship.  Sometimes these cloaks will also have fancy clasps or fur linings however generally they appear to be sturdy garments to protect from the damp underground.

d20 OGL 3.5 Cloak of Dark Shadows

ModerateEvocation

This heavy cloak is sown from black spider silk that has only existed in the darkness until its final enchantment, the cloak actually seems as if shadows were crafted into the lining.  When light touches the cloak it appears as if it never really reaches it and the wearer seems to always be partially embraced in some kind of shadowy light.

d20 OGL 3.5 Ring of Deception

 Strong AIllusion

At first glance these rings appear to be the product of jeweler with a high level of craftsmanship, any gemstones they may have are brilliant and dance with the light and the gold metallic band almost glows.  Under closer inspection the gold is not as bright and polished nor is the gemstones as perfect as they once seemed, in fact no amount of effort will make this ring shine.
