When using a grass texture having a good dirt texture underneath gives you more options and provides a normal and natural feel to the image, also gives you the ability to add a path through the grass.  Thes seamless dirt textures make great addons and unyielding potential when used for varies web and graphic related projects.  In addition being seamless they can be used for a wide array of backgrounds.

These high resolution brushes, patterns and textures are free to download and can be used for many graphics related programs such as photoshop and gimp, most of these textures are from pictures taken with my Canon T3i.  I will be adding more textures, patterns and brushes as time permits and look to expand the free texture section constantly.  You are free to use these textures in any project you desire, the only thing I ask is if possible to give us a little credit or a link.
