I am going to start working on a Pathfinder dataset for NPC Designer - NPC Generator, while NPC Designer might be free at this point I would still enjoy it to have new life and this seems to be the most logical path to follow. If people wish to get involved in the process it will be welcomed, there is a lot to do and any help will be appreciated.

Now, do not expect this to be done overnight as there is a lot to do. I will start with creating the new data files needed for NPC Designer to work and then start moving into coding the scripts. I don't foresee a lot of changes in NPC Designer code but if needed I will handle them as they come along so there could be some updates to that as well. I also going to document the entire process, this could help others in the future should they wish to create their own datasets.

As far as help goes, it depends on what skills you have actually. It probably won't be long before any person can help by testing, at the moment I am working out all the actual data files and then will start putting scripts together that will need testing. On a good note the program has been put through its paces so we will be just making sure scripts are doing what is expected and fine tuning the npc generator engine so it yields expected results.

I guess first, take a look at NPC Designer and how the scripts are put together and see if any of it makes sense...

Hi Vascant. Been a while! I was just thinking about this site and program a few days ago, but couldn't remember the exact names. Saw a post of yours about 5e on EN World, which was perfect timing. I'm about to run a Pathfinder campaign for some friends, so any datasets would definitely be useful appreciated. I may take a stab at scripting a few, but it's been what, five or six years now?

Hey, yeah long time no see. Yeah it has been a while indeed. As you can see I have released all of the data files I have worked on thus far so you can download at your leisure. I am not seeing a lot of changes needed by the core executable thus far so everything is about scripting and data files.

If you wish to help, great and would be appreciated. If you need some help, I am around most of the day as normal
