This is the 2nd to last map of Campaign Map #3, it really does take the kind of map to get a good look at how the Lake of Spires is formed and gets its name. On one hand there is not a lot of room for adventures but still for a creative dungeon master and adventuring group there is tons of things to explore. As a dungeon master you just need to add two elements for this to happen, a means to get underwater with some level of safety from the environment and a desire to go there. In my campaign the water will provide a constant threat from the sahuagin that come to land for raids and while they are at war with the drow, they also hunt and kill all land based creatures so if your group wishes to strike a blow against them they will need to go underwater.
